The next seminar will cover Making a Fundraising Ask. We will cover how to approach a donor, how to structure the conversation, and how to get a firm commitment for a donation. This is valuable to every candidate and campaign, because a weak fundraiser will struggle to get the resources necessary to be competitive. This will not cover building lists, impersonal fundraising, or finding potential donors; but focusing solely on your ability to make a firm and effective ask for donations.
Running this seminar will be LaShae Torres who has several cycles of experience working directly with candidates both in the call room and at fundraisers to raise money. As part of small finance teams, she has been able to assist Democratic candidates to bring in close to a million dollars.
